Glow Naturally—The Right Way to Care for Your Tan

What to Expect
Before and after care for your spray tan appointmentBefore Tanning
Tanning Aftercare
- Avoid products with parabens.
- We highly suggest using a body wash and shampoo without sulfates as they strip the skin of their natural oils and can cause the tan to fade more quickly and/or unevenly.
- Body lotions should contain no sulfates, mineral oil or alcohol.
OBB offers aftercare products to help prolong your tan as well as touch-up products.

There’s no OBB presence anywhere in Arizona yet, which makes Gilbert a first-mover territory.
Happy Valley is in one of Oregon’s strongest demographic pockets, on a side of metro Portland OBB has never served. Fast population growth, strong household income, top-rated schools, a four-season event calendar, and the operational advantage of sitting close to the rest of the Oregon OBB network. The east-side metro is the obvious next step.
Dallas concentrates exactly the consumer OBB was built for: dense, high-income, image-conscious, with one of the largest wedding markets in the Southwest and a social calendar that runs nearly year-round. Our existing studio in Argyle serves the NW DFW corridor; a Dallas-proper studio is the urban-core counterpart, not a duplicate.
Scottsdale concentrates exactly the consumer OBB was built for: affluent, image-conscious, lifestyle-forward, with one of the largest wedding and resort-event calendars in the country and a Sonoran climate that keeps the spray tan calendar active year-round. There’s no OBB presence anywhere in Arizona yet, which makes Scottsdale a first-mover territory.

What you wear during your spray tanning appointment is completely up to you! As the client, your comfort comes first. So whether you want to go completely bare, in undergarments, or a swimsuit, it is your say so.
A traditional spray tan develops over 8–12 hours and requires you to wait before rinsing. An express tan, on the other hand, allows you to rinse in as little as 2–4 hours depending on your desired color depth. Express is perfect for those on a tight schedule!
We recommend arriving with clean, bare skin—no makeup, deodorant, lotions, or perfumes. These products can create barriers and interfere with the tanning solution, leading to uneven color.
Absolutely! Spray tanning is for everyone. Whether it’s for a beach trip, special occasion, or just feeling confident, we welcome all clients.
Patchiness often happens if the skin becomes dry or exfoliates unevenly. Gently exfoliate the affected areas and moisturize well. If needed, schedule a touch-up—we’re happy to help you even things out!
With proper care, yes! Gradual fading is normal, and moisturizing daily will help your tan wear off evenly. Avoid harsh exfoliants and long baths, and gently pat dry after showers to extend your results.
An appointment can take as little as 15 minutes! For first time tans, we book 30-minute appointments in order to consult with clients before the tan.
We use an unscented solution, so you can go about your day without the strong smell often associated with self-tanners. However, some clients may notice a mild scent depending on how their skin reacts with the ingredients.
Everyone’s skin is unique. Your technician will choose the best shade for you based on your skin tone, type, and ethnic background to ensure the most flattering, natural-looking result. If you spray tan regularly, your skin will become more accustomed to the solution and begin to develop deeper, longer-lasting color over time.
