What you wear during your spray tanning appointment is completely up to you! As the client, your comfort comes first. So whether you want to go completely bare, in undergarments, or a swimsuit, it is your say so.  

We recommend arriving with clean, bare skin—no makeup, deodorant, lotions, or perfumes. These products can create barriers and interfere with the tanning solution, leading to uneven color.

An appointment can take as little as 15 minutes! For first time tans, we book 30-minute appointments in order to consult with clients before the tan.

We use an unscented solution, so you can go about your day without the strong smell often associated with self-tanners. However, some clients may notice a mild scent depending on how their skin reacts with the ingredients.

It is always important to wear SPF to protect your skin. Our solution has SPF 15 that may protect some skin tones (not all skin tones) for a few hours after your tan. You can apply SPF again after your first shower.

It is always important to talk to your doctor for approval. We can do a test spot on the skin, as increased hormones can make women more sensitive to products during pregnancy. However, the spray tan does not penetrate into the bloodstream, it only temporarily stains the skin, making it a safe treatment. Organic Bronze Bar solution has organic and natural ingredients, but a mask can be provided to avoid inhalation while being sprayed.

No. While hydrated skin is important, do not apply moisturizer right before your tan—it can act as a barrier to the tanning solution.

Do moisturize regularly in the days leading up to your appointment to help your skin absorb color evenly.

Yes—but timing matters!

Shave or wax at least 24 hours before your appointment to give your skin time to settle.

Shaving or waxing too close to your tan can cause uneven results.

Shower at least 4 hours before your appointment (no soap or products with oils or moisturizers).

Exfoliate your skin gently but thoroughly, focusing on rough areas like elbows, knees, and ankles.

Avoid lotions, perfumes, deodorant, and makeup the day of your appointment. Clean, dry skin is best.
