In the months leading up to their weddings, brides tend to get a lot of advice.
They get suggestions from long-married family members about how to make a relationship last for the long haul.
Their parents may have a lot to say about the seating chart for their wedding, and their BFFs may have some feelings about the bridesmaid dresses.
Years of superstition and tradition tell them that it’s best if they carry something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
….but why doesn’t anyone ever say anything about a tan?
Getting a healthy glow obviously isn’t required for a beautiful wedding or a happy marriage, but it doesn’t hurt, either, and as one of our own prepares to say “I do” in just a few weeks, we’re pretty psyched to be sending her off with a healthy hue to her skin from a healthy organic spray tan. Brides-to-be — don’t forget that we’ve got your back when the time comes for you to walk down the aisle! Forget “blushing brides”… let’s make “bronze brides” the new thing.
Meet our very own Portland’s Bridgeport OBB bride-to-be Makayla Harris!
What is your number-one favorite thing about being part of the OBB team?
We’re not a team… we’re a family! And that’s my favorite part. Getting to come to work and spend the day with some of my favorite people is the best.
What makes you glow from the inside out?
I love to surround myself with friends and family who support me and help me be the best version of me that I can be. Oh… and my level 7 tan!
What’s your secret for boosting confidence?
Doing something that scares you every day.
What’s your favorite thing about a tan?
The fact that I can get sun-kissed without getting sun-damaged.
